There are many fun and exciting things to see and learn about throughout your unique look into the development of one of the world’s greatest civilizations. These civilizations served as the building blocks for our world today! Your civilization is located in a unique corner of the world and as our cities that were brimming with interesting museums and historical places as well. You will use your research skills and the computer lab to investigate several points of interest within the civilization you have been assigned. You will at times work together in a group and on your own to create the projects based on your discoveries. You will be given four weeks to complete the Tour of Ancient Civilizations. Mr Chadwick will put you in groups and assign each group the civilization that you will be discovering. Keep in mind that your investigation is NOT limited to the computer lab. You might want to continue your research in your classroom, at home, or at the local library. You will also be given a folder to keep your research notes and project instructions. Bring this folder with you every time you come to the computer lab. You will be writing a report on your civilization and then creating a project that shows your civilization as it was in its natural surroundings. After your report and project are finished, start thinking about how you are going to present your findings to your group. You will want to show your project and give a brief explanation of your civilization Your presentation should be a summary of your report, no more then a few minutes in length.
