Welcome to the Technology Academy!
The Technology Academy is an innovative training and transitional support program for young people in the Northern Virginia area who have either dropped out of school or are at risk of dropping out. This program has provided an alternative to the everyday classroom for the past seven years and has served over 300 youth. It is especially designed to address the needs of students with disabilities and help them to live and work in their communities.
Academy students are offered a chance to earn high school credits toward graduation while receiving pre-apprenticeship training and work-study experience.
Students benefit from small group sessions and individual counseling on career and life issues. The Academy also provides transition support for its graduates who will further their education in a post-secondary environment or who are heading directly into the work force.

Students learn to collaborate, communicate, and work effectively in teams while earning their high school diploma. Students learn to apply knowledge and think critically and independently in order to solve problems.
