Who is eligible to attend the Academy?
The Academy serves individuals between the ages of 12 and 21 living in the Northern Virginia area who are not experiencing success in a regular classroom environment. This includes:
- low income students
- drop-outs
- teen parents
- students with disabilities
- expelled youth
The Academy is especially interested in serving students with disabilities who may have given up efforts to succeed in school, but wish to continue in a work-study program providing technical training as well as academic opportunities.
